About Donald Steven Collins

Don is a retired NYPD investigator. He opened his own private detective agency and worked the five boroughs of New York for five years before moving to Florida.

For eight years he was the Chief Investigator for The Home Shopping Network in St. Petersburg. He served with the U.S. Army’s 716th Military Police Battalion and the 9th Infantry Division in Vietnam during the 1968 Tet Offensive.

He graduated from Valley Stream South High School and received a Bachelor’s degree from the New York Institute of Technology. Don and his wife Cathy live in Seminole, Florida. They have four grown children and twelve grandchildren.
